I had the pleasure of collaborating with Jennifer from DestinJeepRentals.com on an
exciting project. I captured some images of her vehicles, business portraits, and
content. She took me on a little adventure around the town of Destin, Florida in one of
her Jeeps. It was so fun!! We had the luxurious one touch top down, with the beautiful
warm sun and soft wind in our faces driving down beach scenic 98. It felt like
something out of a movie as we watched the ocean waves and jammed out to some fun
tunes in her brand new Black Jeep. The amazing thing about Destin Jeep rentals is that
they bring the jeep to you wherever you are. So no waiting in airport lines. You can just
walk up to the vehicle with the keys in it and drive away. It is also amazing that they
come back to you pick up the vehicle once your rental time has finished. It is a truly
superb concierge service run by amazing kind people who treat you like family. Now,
onto our adventure…
First, we rode over to Henderson Beach State Park to take some images of her car
rentals in front of the beach. Then we took a short stroll down the beach for some
realistic content on our beautiful Destin Beaches. Then we headed over to the crab trap
to have some fun with our drones. I took some videos of the Jeep and then some of the
beautiful day on the beach. It was gorgeous. The water is so blue in March, April, and
May and it is my favorite time of year.
After our half day photo shoot we were beat so we took a joy ride down to Henderson
Beach Resort. My favorite place! We pull up to the Valet in one of her destin jeep
rentals, toss the keys and head in to the resort like something from Hollywood. The
resort is so clean and elegant and the food is amazing. We went to the Horizons
restaurant where they have a 360 view of the resort, dunes, and water as you enjoy a
delicious meal and amazing drinks. You can sit outside on the veranda or inside. I love
their chicken Caesar salad and good glass of pino grigio. They also have chef hand
crafted amazing deserts. I highly recommend it if wanting a truly unique experience.
Another restaurant at the resort in Beach Walk Café – it’s my favorite restaurant on the
Emerald Coast. It is adults only so there is true peace to enjoy a romantic evening
listening to the waves crash and the beach air on your face. The chef-prepared food is
amazing. It is truly a quaint, intimate, and relaxing experience. My
husband loves the snapper entree and I love the steak and mashed potatoes. The greens
salad is the best with honey balsamic glaze with spinach, strawberries, cheese, and
pecans. My mouth is drooling just thinking about it!
Henderson Beach Resort is my favorite place to staycation or just day adventure while
visiting the beaches in Destin Florida. From their roof top bar that has a truly unique and
spectacular view, to the spa, hotel rooms suites, to the private beach. It is truly a one of
kind experience. My favorite part is the Henderson Beach Resort Spa where they focus
on truly healing in my opinion. I love that the mani-pedi room overlooks the dunes that
lead to the beach. It is the only spa that I have found that has an outside scenic view
while enjoying your service. Theresa gives the best foot massage I have ever received.
The massages are superb. The service starts off with a ringing of a bell and inhaling
deeply of your preferred relaxing scent to ease any tension you may have. The beds are
incredibly comfortable and the massages are truly relaxing and healing.
After your spa treatment if you are a guest at the hotel, you can head down to the gated
private beach. The resort backs up to Henderson Beach State Park so it can feel like
you have the beach all to yourself depending on the time of year you visit. After an
enjoyable day at the beach you can head over to your room that overlooks the stunning
view of the dunes and water. My favorite is the Veranda Suite. It looks so exotic like you
are on an island in the Caribbean or maybe Italy with the lush green dunes overlooking
the crystal blue water. It is truly an amazing escape and the best kept secret.
